Our structural engineering services are delivered locally in Devon and across the UK from our office in Torquay, South West England. For larger projects we work in partnership with Civil Engineers and Geotechnical specialists to provide fully co-ordinated, multi-disciplinary engineering services.

About Lee Ryall
Lee Ryall has over 30 years of experience in structural engineering. This spans his first employment as a structural technician in Devon, to more recently as an equity partner at a leading structural and civil engineering consultancy in Sussex – with spells in two top London consultancies in between.
Since returning to Devon to establish his own structural engineering practice, Lee has already built an excellent reputation in the area. His expertise combined with a friendly, down-to-earth manner and practical approach has earned him the respect of professional associates and clients alike. Consequently, he has become the ‘go to’ engineer in the area.
As a highly experienced design engineer, Lee has an in-depth knowledge of construction techniques and all materials. With a great eye for detail, he is adept at identifying economical solutions for complicated engineering tasks. He also brings ‘big build’ experience to every project, regardless of scale.
Lee enjoys tackling enginering challenges. His experience includes overcoming issues associated with steeply sloping or contaminated sites and confined in-fill plots with restricted access.

Alongside smaller residential projects, Lee’s experience encompasses large private and public sector schemes. Amongst these are education projects for universities and schools ranging from £300k to £36million. These include the Varley Halls campus for the University of Brighton, Millais School in Horsham and Laurent Hall for Lancing College.
Leisure facility projects include structural engineering design of the Natural Fit wellness clubs in Tunbridge Wells and Hove for steel framed building specialists Kent Structures.
Lee has also successfully delivered numerous residential refurbishment, restoration and extension projects across the South of England. He has also led the engineering design for several multi-million pound, luxury new-build mansions. These include exclusive estates such as St. George’s Hill and Coombe Park in Surrey.
